Company History

Weisgram Metal Fab, Inc. was started in 1982 as a two person welding shop in West Fargo, North Dakota, doing mainly small welding and repair jobs.  In the 1980s, the business began to expand by manufacturing sugar beet equipment such as beet pilers, continuous vacuum pans, rock catchers, and wash equipment. Through the 1990s the company continued to grow, adding the manufacturing of structural steel, skid steer loaders, attachments, and components.

In 1999, a new  facility was built on a 10 acre lot in West Fargo.  After building expansions in 2003, 2005, 2006, and 2007 the facility currently houses approximately 140,000 sq. ft. of shop space and 10,000 sq. ft. of office space.

WMFI’s primary business is contract manufacturing, specializing in production welding, laser cutting, forming, and other metal fabrication.  The key to the company’s success is its exceptional people and highly skilled workforce.
