Multi Shape
processing - A variety of material shapes can be automatically
centered and clamped - square, rectangular, and triangular
pipe plus angle iron, i-beam, and c-channel.
Laser
cut quality - Weisgram's technicians use the Mazak Fabri
Gear 300 for producing consistent, tight fit ups that save
adjustment time in banding, welding, and assembly. They
also use the laser to create slot and tab self-fixturing
parts.
Weisgram
laser processes offer improved accuracy by automatically
offsetting material distortion. Long length material is
handled and supported to prevent sagging.
The 3D cutting
head can cut with extreme accuracy at any desired angle
- not just perpendicular to the surface.
Only one
machine, Mazak's 6 axis pipe laser with rotary chuck, cuts
each of these pipes in one process, one setup.
